British Airways London Eye

British Airways London Eye is the world's highest observation wheel and offers passengers amazing views of Britain's capital city.

You can see around 40km from the top as far as Windsor Castle on a clear day. The Eye takes guests on a 30 minute flight, rising to 450 feet above the river Thames, in 32 high tech fully enclosed capsules.

The London Eye opens daily except on Christmas Day (25 December) and during its annual maintenance period from 11 to 20 January 2008.

The first flight takes place at 10.00 am.

Can I drive my London hire car to the British Aiways London Eye?

If you decide to drive to the London Eye , there are three car parks within walking distance located around the South Bank area. Please note that the London Eye is within the Congestion Charge Zone.
